Alan Cossettini

Born in Aviano (Italy) on August 18th of 1974, Alan Cossettini moved to Africa with his parents when he was less than one year old. He lived in Equatorial Africa for more than twelve years, where he studied in International schools learning Italian, French and English. In the late eighties his family came back to Europe, living between Belgium, France and finally northern Italy. Alan Cossettini moved to Rome in 2003, when he started being involved in professional cinema working as Casting Agent and Casting Assistant for foreign productions shooting in Italy. In 2006 he started his own company AMF Studios working as Casting Director mainly for commercials. His portfolio includes clients like Dior, Hallmark, Barilla USA, Volvo, Chrysler, Silverlight, among many others. Strong of all experience gained, in 2015 he also started working as Casting Director for film and TV. Having grown up as an avid genre/exploitation films fan, casting cult character actors from iconic movies from the past is quickly becoming his trademark. His passion for genre films and producers like Roger Corman and Charles Band led him to start his own production company, Creepmaker Studios, characterized by a distinct passion for Horror, Thriller, Sci-Fi and Fantasy entertainment. Since his debut in the film industry he has often used the pseudonym "Mancuso" in honor of Kevin Mancuso, one of the many pseudonyms of Aristide Massaccesi (Joe d'Amato), one of his favorite directors.
