Richard Angers worked on numerous fiction films and documentaries as editor, sound designer, composer, screenwriter, and director before making his first full-length fiction film. After making a number of shorts, he directed children's programs and wrote two documentary series. He went on to develop the drama, La Chambre no 13, which received ten Gémeaux nominations and three awards. He directed two shows in the series, as well as being the showrunner. More recently while writing a number of full-length fiction films, he wrote and directed the documentary series Fou des oiseaux (Crazy about birds - 39 half hour), which received four Gémeaux nominations and directed his first full-length fiction film A Pact Among Angels. After it's premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, the film has been selected in the Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur (Belgium) and has been released in Canada. In the fall of 2017, it won the Jury Prize for best feature in the Middlebury New Filmmakers Film Festival (Vermont) and Route 66 Film Festival (Illinois) and was in the official 2017 Jury Selections of the Hollywood Film Festival.
