William Medici is a former intelligence operations officer and an Army veteran turned writer & producer, entertainment executive and philanthropist. William's government career took him to the Balkans, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and to one of his favorite countries in the world, Italy. William is the President & Co-Founder of The Medici Foundation, a non-profit 501c (3), private foundation he founded together with his wife Lisa that promotes and provides opportunities in the arts. The foundation has sponsored a number of initiatives including land marking the neighborhoods of Little Italy & Chinatown in New York City as well Angelo Musco's Illy Cafe Art Series, the Off-Broadway play entitled Bagabonds, the Veteran Film Lab and the ongoing support of the New York City International Film Festival. William was the Founder of Dolce- aka Dolce Channel, a leading international media company with over 2,200 hours of programming including feature films, documentaries, TV series, animation & specials and lifestyle programming. William speaks Italian and sits on the board of the New York City International Film Festival. He is a member and supporter of The American Legion, The Green Beret Foundation, Association of the United States Army, CIA Officers Memorial Foundation, Humane Society of America, ASPCA, Wildlife Conservation Society, The SOF Foundation and The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
