Max Nardari, born in Padova, is a director, screenwriter, producer and composer. Max graduated in Dams in Bologna with a thesis on Pedro Almodovar. He graduated in Nuct of Cinecittà and began his career by directing many videoclips and writing for several Italian interpreters including Raf, and Fabrizio Moro. He graduated in screenwriting at RAI Television and in 2003 founded his own company Reset Production (http://www.resetmedia.it) that produced various social short films, all of them written and directed by Max and some of them distributed by Rai Cinema Channel. In 2014 Max directed his first feature film LIUBOV PRET-A-PORTE' (international title: Like a Rainbow), produced by the Italian companies Bell film and White Wolf production in co-production with Russian companies Oda film ltd and Zori Film Ltd. Cast: Giancarlo Giannini, Alessandro Borghi, Nino Frassica, Paolo Conticini, Tosca D'Aquino and Andrea Preti. In March 2017 Liubov Pret a Portè has been released in Russia in 470 cinemas distributed by Paradise. In april 2016 Max writed, directed and produced with Reset Production his second feature film titled THE FAMILY JUMBLE (italian title: La mia famiglia a soqquadro). Cast: Marco Cocci, Bianca Nappi, Gabriele Caprio, Eleonora Giorgi and Ninni Bruschetta. The world international premiere has been on 15 July 2016 at the Tokyo Film Festival. The film has already been sold in many Asian countries by the international sales Medialuna. In December 2016 the film won the Salerno International Film Festival. The film has been screened in Italy on 30 March 2017 with Europictures distribution in the major multiplexes UCI and The Space. In 2018 Max wrote, produced and directed two new social short films: INVISIBLE and LOVE HAS NOT RELIGION, distributed by Premiere Film. Love has not religion won the Terra di Siena Film Festival and Catania Film Festival 2018 and in 2019 has been finalist at Los Angeles Cine Fest and Tulipani di Seta Nera Festival in Rome. In September 2018, during the 75th Venice International Film Festival, Max received The Glass Lion Award as best director and Veneto excellence. In October 2018 Max presented in Milan The Italian-Russian Felix Award, winning as best director for the film Liubov pret a portè. In 2019 Max co-produced and co-directed with Marco Matteucci the short movie GOCCE D'ACQUA. Corrently Reset Production are working on two new feature films: HE &HIM adapted from the 2010 Max homonym short film, and a new comedy entitled OUT! (Fuori tutti!).
