Luke Barats

Luke Pierre Barats is a YouTube star, YouTube comedian, actor, producer, writer and one half of the popular YouTube comedy sketch duo Barats and Bereta. Their channel surpassed 410,000 subscribers in December 2015. He was born on Boise, Idaho on November 23, 1983. Before fame, He first joined YouTube with Joe Bereta on December 28th, 2005. Formed in 2003, the duo originally made videos to amuse friends, often combining real and fictional acts. They met when both were students of Gonzaga University. These videos eventually made it onto their website and onto YouTube. Their viral videos have also earned them the description of an Internet phenomenon. They have over 413,000 subscribers on YouTube. Views of videos released in 2006 have topped over ten million and more recent videos have an average of 200,000 views. Both have portrayed characters on the popular YouTube web series The Annoying Orange. Luke's channel features a couple of video series known as Great Pick-Up Lines and Skitlets. He regularly performs with the improv comedy team My Favorite Customer. He and Joe have collaborated on YouTube with fellow comedy duo Rhett & Link. Brittany and Luke met in 2009 in Los Angeles. He asked her out to see an improv show, she coerced him into skydiving, he convinced her to try roller derby, and the rest is history. They were engaged on Valentine's Day 2015 atop Tahquitz Peak in Idyllwild, CA. Luke is married to Brittany Cope since August 01, 2015.
