Alexia Kelly

Born in Darfield, NZ, Alexia caught the acting bug at age 4 where she debuted as a "Tree" in suburban Christchurch. From that point on, she pursued acting work, starting mainly in theatre as a child, including playing Jane Banks in the first theatrical production of Mary Poppins. In 1993 she moved to Sydney, Australia and continued her career, attending Newtown High School of the Performing Arts as a Drama student, and working consistently in Theatre and TV. In 2001 she moved to London, performing in a cyber-punk band for a year, then returned to Sydney and had her first child in 2004. She continued working as an actor, including working for several years on the cult TV series "Dolphin Juice". In early 2003 she took advantage of her natural bossiness; and began working as a producer, first in theatre,then TV and short films. In 2010 she produced her first feature film "Up the Aisle", which she also starred in, and shortly after had her second child. She is currently developing her second feature film, and a documentary.
