Liz Tucker

Liz Tucker is a multi-award winning executive documentary producer, series producer and director. Her awards include the UK's top science documentary prize, the prestigious Glaxo/ABSW Science Writers' Award, and in 2015 she was named as Broadcast Journalist of the Year by the Medical Journalists' Association. Her company Verve Productions recent documentary Filming My Father: In Life and Death using an innovative approach to reveal the extraordinary minute-by-minute story of a man with motor neurone disease has won more awards than any other Channel 5 programme ever made, gaining a total of six awards and nominations. Liz has made films for many of the world's leading broadcasters including including the BBC, Channel 5, Channel 4, WGBH, Discovery and TLC. Her programmes have been broadcast in more than 100 countries.
