Stephanie Domini is a bi-coastal actress and writer, splitting her time between Los Angeles and New York. She was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and attended Loyola University of Chicago. She started as an actress first but discovered along the way that a fulfilling aspect to her creativity was also writing. She has written several screenplays. Her first, a New York slice of life comedy, "Wing Woman", written with writing partner, Diana Bologna, came in the finals in the Austin Film Festival 2012 screenplay competition. Her second, a dramatic period piece, "A Cool Dark Place", screened at several international film festivals and was nominated for best short as well as best performance of 2015 by New Filmmakers LA. Stephanie focused on producing the film herself and started production company Peregrine Films. She also took voice lessons to portray a sultry 1930's lounge singer in the film and loved it so much she still continues. She also enjoys being active, painting, riding horses, as well as a passionate animal lover. She volunteers helping rescued wolves at Wolf Connection in California and started her own animal welfare group called Actors for Animals. She also worked for years for The Somaly Mam Foundation-raising funds and awareness for children and women sold into trafficking.
