UK Actor/singer Daniel Boys was born in Yateley, Hampshire. After spending three years at the acclaimed Guildford School of Acting, Daniel embarked on a career that has seen him singing and performing in London's West End, extensively around Europe and even as far afield as Japan. He has appeared in numerous productions including; 'Rent', 'Sunset Boulevard', 'Grease', 'West Side Story', 'Sweeney Todd', and the world premiere of the stage production of 'The War of the Worlds'. In 2007, Daniel rose to prominence as a contestant on the hugely successful BBC TV talent show 'Any Dream Will Do': Andrew Lloyd Webber's search for Joseph. Singing to a television audience of more than 10 million viewers each week, Daniel quickly established himself as one of the favourites, and garnered himself a huge following and wide fan base. Although he did not win the coveted role, his immense likeability and powerful vocals ensured that he was firmly established as one of the UK's brightest emerging musical talents. Since 'Any Dream Will Do' Daniel has been in strong demand to perform at a variety of high profile concerts and events. He has had the chance to perform alongside the likes of Bryn Terfel, John Barrowman, Bonnie Langford and Jodie Prenger - a fellow television talent show personality. He was honoured to be asked to sing at Andrew Lloyd Webber's 60th birthday Concert in Hyde Park, is a regular guest on BBC Radio 2's 'Friday Night is Music Night', toured the UK in a concert celebrating the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and most recently supported John Barrowman on his UK tour. The tour culminated in a performance at the world famous Royal Albert Hall where Daniel sang, amongst other things, 'I Know Him So Well' which he has also recorded with John for the album 'Music, Music, Music'. Daniel has recently been starring in the hit West End musical 'Avenue Q', a show which earned him the 2009 Theatregoers Choice Award for 'Best Take Over in a Role'. In June 2009 Daniel released his much anticipated debut album 'So Close'.
