Nick Birtwistle

Nick Birtwistle is a Director and Editor with over a decade's experience across film and television. A winner of an RTS award he is also an accomplished camera operator with experience of working all over the world. Intuitive and creative, with a background in music and documentary he has shot and cut shows for MTV, VH1, Sky Arts and the BBC. Nick is also known for his fashion work with clients including Vogue, Mario Testino and Stella McCartney whilst he has also done extensive promo work for international brands like Coca-Cola, Paypal and Warner Bros. Escaping darkened edit suites, Nick toured the world with Iron Maiden for five years shooting and editing their benchmark documentary 'Behind The Beast', shooting the concert film 'En Vivo' and making a behind the scenes video diary series. Alongside this he was responsible for running the local camera crews for the live performance each night.
