Haas Manning is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Devon in the Sundance Film Festival favorite King. He has since starred in Yelling to the Sky, Chloe and Theo and Chasing Titles Vol 1. Manning's television shows include Blue Bloods, Men of a Certain Age and Criminal Minds. Haas Manning grew up as the oldest of four children in a single parent home in Newark, New Jersey. Haas was first introduced to the arts in elementary school while auditioning for a school play. Years later, Haas was encouraged by his middle school guidance counselor to audition for Arts High School - the nation's first school dedicated to the performing arts. As a theatre major, Haas performed in various school plays and was selected twice for the Speech and Theatre Association's annual competition, where he won the prestigious Governor's Award. After graduating from high school, Haas enrolled into Montclair State University as a Biology major while continuing to take theater classes. Haas realized his true passion lied within the arts and sought training from a highly accomplished acting coach in NYC, Anthony Abeson. Haas has gone on to pursue a full-time acting career and never looked back. Haas landed his first leading role in the Sundance Film Festival's favorite "King" and continued to work on other films including: "Chloe and Theo" opposite Dakota Johnson and Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino; "Yelling to the Sky" opposite Zoe Kravitz and Academy Award nominee Gabourey Sidibe; "Miracle at St. Anna" with Golden Globe nominee Kerry Washington, and "Home" with Emmy Award winner Joe Morton. On television, Haas has appeared on CBS' hit dramas "Blue Bloods" with Golden Globe winner Tom Selleck and "Criminal Minds" opposite Golden Globe nominees Thomas Gibson and Joe Mantegna, as well as TNT's "Men of a Certain Age" opposite Golden Globe nominees Andre Braugher and Ray Ramano.
