Born in Livorno (Leghorn, Tuscany, Italy). He has a degree in DAMS (Arts and Performing Arts - University of Florence 2004) and a master degree in Cinema and Multimedial Production (University of Pisa - 2006). He is a award-winning filmmaker of documentaries, short films, commercials, music videos and "behind the scenes" videos; he also works as First or Second AD with Italian directors such as Enrico Oldoini, Sergio Rubini, Daniele Luchetti, Fausto Brizzi, Paolo Costella, Claudio Noce, Matteo Oleotto and Lorenzo Sportiello). He won 24 prizes and over 100 selections with his shorts "Due giorni d'estate" (2014) and "Il cappotto di lana" (2012). "Due giorni d'estate" (Two days in summer, Deux jours d'été) was presented at Short Film Corner at Cannes Film Festival 2014. He also won the Italian Backstage Film Festival 2012 with the "behind the scenes" of the movie "10 regole per farti innamorare" (C. Bortone, 2012)
