Candice Buchanan

Candice Buchanan is an experienced host and producer who has hosted/produced many television specials and shows across the Caribbean/USA. While at RETV Candice produced and hosted a number of the entertainment driven station's flagship programs including the Award winning "ReView". Ms. Buchanan also extended her talents to the RETV's sister station Jamaica News Network or JNN. There she also produced and host a number of special live and delayed features/programs as well as being the entertainment news anchor on the nightly news. Candice Buchanan showed her range when she landed a supporting actress role in the popular Jamaican Sitcom "Me and Mi Krew" for it's 2 seasons. Her experience during the filming of the episodic show influenced her to make her next move. Candice graduated in May 2013 as one of the top students from Full Sail University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in film and television production with a minor in Cinematography. During her time there she served as Vice President for the BSU (Black Student Union) and was very active in campus life. Candice has shot and produced/Directed a number of short films and music videos one of which made it to the schools Jumbotron where only the best projects are displayed. As if that wasn't enough while in enrolled in school Candice worked on multiple projects for companies including ESPN, WWE, City of Winter Park and Orlando's popular TV program, "Orlando Live". From 2011- 2013 Candice was heard on the airwaves as co-host of the "Back to Basics" radio talk show in Orlando. As of April 2013 she is proprietor of her own radio program "The Candice Buchanan Show" broadcasting live on the airwaves in Atlanta GA and also in Orlando FL. Ms. Buchanan has many other projects in the works through her production company "C Island Films" and will keep you posted with what's going on in the world of Candice Buchanan.
