Art Douglas graduated cum laude from the prestigious USC School of Cinema/Television. Already trained from Auburn University in storytelling, a background in Shakespearean studies, camera direction and theater, Art was able to hone his skills at USC. His racially charged feature length drama "Jared's Noose" was selected as a runner-up for Best Drama in the 2004 Beverly Hills Screenwriting Competition. In 2016, his short film The Master & Me was nominated for two awards at the Fantastic Horror Film Festival in San Diego, CA (Best Comedy and Best Actor for Irwin Keyes). It was a great honor that the late Irwin Keyes took honors for Best Actor in his last released role.
