Elroi J. Windsor

Elroi Windsor (former surname Waszkiewicz) is a sociology professor at Salem College, Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Prior to working in academia, Windsor's extracurricular activities included drag king performances, which led to most of the film roles they occupied. Windsor performed first in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, under the stage name "Jack," then moved to Brooklyn, New York to perform as "A-Jack" in The BackDoor Boys. Windsor later performed with fellow BackDoor Boy, Macauley Elmer, in "The Andy & Elroi Show," where their work as drag kings ventured into the performance art arena.
