Jennifer is a principal and founder of Wide Eye Productions, a Northwest digital production company that's been creating successful films since 2000. Jennifer has ushered dozens of projects from concept, through production, to completion- from Emmy Award-winning documentaries, to educational children's programs, to branded entertainment. She knows how to weave images, sound and message into memorable films. in 2020, Jennifer directed and wrote "Fat Fiction", a film about the history of the U.S. Dietary Guidelines and the miserable failure of a so-called "low fat heart healthy diet." The film is narrated by 10-Times New York Times best selling author and physician, Mark Hyman and features interviews with world class nutrition experts and science journalists. "Fat Fiction" is available to watch on Amazon Prime where more than 500 5-star reviews rank the film as one of the top nutrition documentaries on the site. In 2017, Jennifer won an Emmy Award for "Idaho from Above", a film she wrote and produced that features sweeping 5K aerials of some of the most remote wilderness areas in the West. Her work on the film included coordinating and permitting aerial cinematography with a 5K RED Dragon Cine flex pkg through some of the most rugged mountain locations in America. Jennifer has produced five Emmy Award-winning nature documentaries for television. In September, 2017, she received an Amazon Video Direct Star Award for the film, "Idaho the Movie", for being one of the top 50 most engaging independent films on Amazon. In 2007, Jennifer produced and co-wrote "Green is the Color of Money" with Academy Award-winning director, Ben Shedd about the design and construction of the world's first certified LEED Platinum commercial building. In 2000, she directed and wrote "Troubled Waters", a documentary about the controversial proposal to improve wild salmon populations by removing four hydro-power dams on the lower Snake River. And in 1999, Jennifer directed and wrote the Emmy nominated documentary, "Life or Meth", a film about the methamphetamine epidemic in rural Idaho. Jennifer works as a freelance producer for ABC Network News. Her experience includes work as a documentary and special projects producer for the NBC Affiliate, KTVB. Her experience also includes 8 years working as a daily news producer and on air reporter.
