Don't be fooled by Cynthia Quiles's angelic appearance. She has the huge eyes, perfect nose, and bow lips of a Manga character, the steel trap mind of a chess master, and she can flip a perp twice her size without breaking a sweat. Born in Puerto Rico, raised on the East Coast, she is book smart and full of heart. Cynthia was her class Valedictorian, before turning her focus on her acting career. An articulate martial artist, Cynthia has trained alongside LAPD; action runs through her veins. Between workouts she avidly practices boxing and Krav Maga. In addition to an extensive list of acting studies including Groundlings, Cynthia has trained for many years in the Master Class at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under Howie Deutsch. Cynthia recently signed on for season 2 of the hit CBS All Access series, Why Women Kill, in the role of 'Brenda' and has also appeared on network TV hits such as NBC's Mr. Mayor, alongside Ted Danson, and the ABC drama, Station 19. She has also led multiple indie films and she shines in roles that make good use of her intense, passionate persona. She emerged in the horror-thriller film, Phoenix Forgotten, from executive producer Ridley Scott and played a cop opposite Dean Cain in the action indie, State of Ward. She has worked a slew of incredible directors, including Spike Jonze, who personally selected her at the audition for his project "We Were Once a Fairytale" on the spot.
