Teddy Valdes, was bitten by the acting bug early on performing in numerous middle school plays. In his teen years, he attended John Jay High School in Brooklyn, New York, and participated in several class made plays transformed into school commercials. He later moved to Arecibo, Puerto Rico, where he attended Escuela Superior Dra. Maria Cadilla De Martinez High School. His high school days were spent singing with his brother and friends in the halls. He mostly attended El Teatro (The Theater), there he was deeply involved in two theatrical plays in Puerto Rico. Soon after graduating high school, Teddy enrolled in National College of Business & Technology (Colegio Universitario). While in the study and work program, he worked for Coalicion Del Norte (Programa de Prevencion de Drogas, alcohol y Tobacco), Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Free Program, working on several commercials on the matter. Being at the right place at the right time, Teddy on his way home from work, was approached by one of the producers of a well known show in the mid 90's in Puerto Rico called, "El Super Show", and was asked to be part of the show. Teddy then moved to Del Rio, TX. During his time there, he was part of the city theater group, "The Upstagers". While auditioning for the play, "Little Shop of Horrors", a friend of his came up to him and asked if he wanted to be in a movie filming in the local area. The film was "The Man Who Came Back" staring Billy Zane, George Kennedy, Eric Braeden, and Armand Assante. Teddy landed a featured role on the film.
