David Masterson was born in Dublin, Ireland, where having started in theater at the tender age of nine he continued to appear in various productions throughout his teens. After a break of some years he returned to acting taking a role in Christoph Silbers debut film "How to Kill Yourself Without Dying" learning German for the part, following on from this Masterson was offered various roles in television and feature films both nationally and internationally. Having recently developed his craft with the "Meisner technique" David Masterson has appeared alongside some of the finest names in the business, most notably, James McAvoy, Helen Mirren, Paul Giamati and Christopher Plummer in the epic story of "Tolstoy" in Michael Hoffmans "The Last Station". David Masterson has quietly established himself as a fine character actor with fine performances in film and theater throughout Europe.
