Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Graduated in Diseño de Imagen y Sonido from UBA. His documentary, Mundo tributo (produced, written and directed with Leo Rosales) have been played at international film festivals including In Edit Chile and Brazil, Buenos Aires Independent International Film Festival, Boston Latino, Ficco DF, La Habana, Argentine Cinemateque at Paris. Showed at Mtv Brazil, as one of the best rockumentaries of the decade. Adrián Gastón Fares was awarded with Special Festival Mention at 4th Noida International Film Festival, India, for Mundo tributo. He received much media attention for his two independent features and was portrayed in the cover of Clarín Zonal Lanús-Avellaneda, the town he grow up in Buenos Aires, as an emerging independent filmmaker. Also, he was selected by writer Pablo de Santis (El aura, The Games Maker) for a writing scholarship at Buenos Aires. At 2016, he traveled from Buenos Aires to Colombia, selected by International Screenwriting Laboratory (Cinefilia, Medellín) for one of his upcoming feature films. He's developing feature films, TV series and other documentaries. His upcoming films delves into entertaining thriller, horror, dark comedy and drama. In 2017, Adrián Gastón Fares won the award Blood Window Feature Film Contest INCAA with the feature he wrote and will be directing called Gualicho.
