Born and raised into a family of an engineer and librarian in the Soviet Union (now Belarus) Vera Petrychenka, at an early age dreamed of having a career in the arts. She began at six years old in ballet school and gave her first performance on the stage at age eight. After graduating from high school she left her hometown of Gomel and moved to Minsk (the capital of Belarus) to continue her education as a dancer in the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. She barely spent two years there. She then decided to get a "real" profession, studying fine arts in the European Humanity University studying to become an art critic. However, before she even completed her first year at the university, she got her very first job dancing in a local music hall. Then she landed a role in her first feature movie and later was cast in a few music videos. She continued with her dancing and soon was on tour with a company for a year and half. They toured all over Asia and the The Middle East. She eventually decided to make another change in her life and went to Paris to become a model. She struggled there for two years before she returned again to her artistic roots. Vera auditioned for the world famous cabaret "Crazy Horse." Quickly she became one of the most sparkling dancers in the company. She became the face of Crazy Horse, appearing on posters, TV shows, and various publications - now known as Vera Cardamome (sometimes misspelled-Cardamone). This included the movie made by Lauren Berger Crazy Horse - Le show (2002). She continued her starring appearances on the stage in Paris, Monte Carlo, South America and finally Las Vegas where she decided to stay. After completing her 10th year on the stage of "Crazy Horse" at the famous MGM Hotel and Casino, she moved to Los Angeles to dedicate herself to an acting career. She has performed in few theatrical productions, among which was Filthy Talk For Troubled Times by Neil LaBute in City Garage Theater. Recently she moved back to Las Vegas to pursue an M.F.A. in one of the most prestigious Creative Writing Programs nationwide at UNLV. She is also working on her own projects as a writer and producer.
