Born in Guadeloupe in 1989, Teddy Riner spent his childhood in Paris. Interested in sport from an early age, he decided at the age of thirteen to devote himself exclusively to judo. Thanks to his extraordinary physique (2.04 m and over 130 kg) and his technique, Teddy Riner quickly established himself as a living legend of judo. He has eight world championship titles, five European championship titles and two Olympic gold medals to his name. He remained undefeated for 10 years and 154 fights. He is a main contestant in the next 2021 Japan Olympian Games.
