Jordan Katz is an L.A.-based composer, bandleader and musician. His work appears in films, video games and commercials. You can hear him on Grammy-winning albums and on television. Or catch him playing live around Los Angeles. He's the one carrying a trumpet and a banjo. His work includes regular score appearances on Bob's Burgers and NCIS New Orleans. When the Late Late Show with James Corden needs a horn section, they call him to arrange and lead. For three years he was the bandleader and composer on TNT's rap battle royale Drop The Mic. And he wrote music for the acclaimed video game Red Dead Redemption 2, which sold over $700 million worth of copies in its first three days. Katz's studio work is also extensive with credits that include Executive Producer of De La Soul's most recent album And The Anonymous Nobody, Charlyne Yi's Open Your Heart and Regent Street by Dan Bern. Over the past two decades he's played with artists from Gaby Moreno to Devendra Banhart, M83 to the Indigo Girls, Fitz and the Tantrums to Ghostface Killah, and even manages to still get out on tour occasionally. Last summer he spent with on the road with Jason Isbell and Father John Misty.
