Matt Edwards

A native of Los Angeles, CA, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Matt grew up on the closed off streets of Los Angeles witnessing pick-up trucks barreling down the road, hitting make-shift ramps and careening into the air for "The Fall Guy," or being corralled by PAs at the public park as KITT from "Knight Rider" would drive through the playground in hot pursuit. After ditching college early to begin working in film and television, he began working on sets as a production assistant harassing all departments to learn what they do on set. Matt has worked almost every job on set which and which led to producing dozens of award winning films. Matt is lucky to be doing the most rewarding aspect of the business - developing projects and people, and bringing stories to stories to audiences all over the world. As Vice President of a filmmakers network, Matt has overseen the development and production, from concept to release, of over 40 different films both narrative and documentary. Working with emerging storytellers and accomplished professionals of the business. He has cultivated a network of over 300 working artists in film, television & digital media and continues to work with them by developing projects both independently and within the traditional studio systems Matt can also occasionally can be seen in award winning short films credited as Mathew Edwards. Matt is happily married with three children and enjoys graphic design as a hobby as well as cooking, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.
