Born in Omaha, NE, and grew up in Venice, CA. He graduated cum laude from Loyola Marymount University (class of 1999). Jon also completed training in improv at iO West and The Clown School in Los Angeles. Jon is performing with Cirque du Soleil in their international touring show, Totem. In addition to his work in front of the camera, he has performed on stage with The Handsome Little Devils in their nationally touring show, Squirm Burpee. He has starred in four separate productions at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with the LA Philharmonic Orchestra; The Spirit of the Cello (as The Spirit of the Cello), Holst's The Planets (as the Musical Astronomologist) and twice in The Composer is Dead, 2008 and 2013 (Pall Bearer), as well as in a joint production of L'Histoire du Soldat (as the Soldat) with the San Francisco Symphony and SF Ballet. Other stage credits include The School of Night at the Mark Taper Forum (Harlequin, 2008 Ticketholder Award for Special Events and Performances for his skill in commedia dell'Arte) and Summersounds at the Hollywood Bowl (Jack Donkey). He is a co-founder of Studio Zanni - Los Angeles's only commedia dell'Arte troupe. And is a proud part of the critically acclaimed physical comedy duo, Ten West, which has entertained audiences across N. America. Jon speaks fluent Italian, can talk your ear off about the Civil War and loves to entertain his daughter with pratfalls.
