Growing up in Korea in a family of entertainment savvy family Chou had long inspired to break into the entertainment industry. Originally he aspired to direct but felt he was more for the business end and chose the route of becoming a producer. He joined up with Warner Brothers Home Entertainment group at the time of the development of The Animatrix (2003). After the wide success of the project Chou was put in charge of a division that could specialize in more Japanese anime projects. After leaving Warner Home he's gone onto work with industry giants such as Shinji Aramaki, and John Woo. Chou has helped spearhead projects such as Halo Legends (2010), The King of Fighters (2010), and Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995).
