French-born composer Sylvain Loiseau grew up and studied in France before moving to Los Angeles in 2007. Although he started his career in the American film industry working in sound post-production on movies like The Forbidden Kingdom (starring Jackie Chan, Jet Lee), Dark Matter (starring Meryl Streep) or The Guitar (starring Saffron Burrows), he was already an accomplished composer and songwriter in France, performing internationally from Paris to Chicago, from The Troubadour (Hollywood) to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC). He then started to focus mainly on composing original scores for movies and TV. His work gathered more than 20 film festivals selections around the globe and 6 awards so far.
