An award-winning director of photography, Rick Rifici has over 30 years experience in the film, television and advertising industry. Based in Australia, Rick has been a leading cinematographer on a variety of critically acclaimed projects over the past decade. His creativity, eye for detail and professionalism has seen him work with both Australian and International Directors and Producers. His most recent collaboration was with Simon Bakers Award Winning feature film - Breath. Rick's other notable credits include The Feature Film Adore, Directed by Anne Fontaine, Tim Duffy's Written and Produced Feature Film Drift, Tim Winton's Dirt Music and the Sci-fi Thriller Otherlife. His passion for ocean and water based filming has seen him recognised by The Film Critics Circle of Australia and The Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts . Rick is an approved Red Dragon Camera Operator and Specialised Operator, Owner and Technician for the Phantom 4K Camera. Rick brings a collaborative, passionate approach to every project - working hard to create beautiful cinematography that visually elevates story and connects audiences.
