Szymon Karl is a writer, producer, actor, and President of Szymon Say'z Productions. Born in Poland, Szymon's unique life experiences have cultivated in him a diverse outlook on life both personally and professionally. In 1984, Szymon at the tender age of four along with his family endured a harrowing escape from Communist Poland. Their dream was freedom and the only place they knew they could find it was the United States. Szymon quickly turned to music to find comfort and peace. Szymon began studying piano immediately, performed his first concert at six, and then at eight was given the opportunity to sing with the Atlanta Boy's Choir. These new found passions in Szymon would later be cemented by Steve Martin's, actor turned producer role, in "Simple Twist of Fate." Service was the strongest thread that ran through the fabric of Szymon's family. Like his father years before, Szymon enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After his military service, Szymon returned to Atlanta to begin his entrepreneurial experience. Szymon's acting career blossomed in 2006 when he was accepted by People Store, the highly respected talent agency which landed him a supporting role in Motives 2. This launched him into his first TV series called October Road with Touchstone Television. Szymon went from producing business meetings to music videos while acting and realized it was time to start a production company. Szymon Say'z Productions was born amongst a whirlwind of projects including Terrell Carter's music video "Thick Girls". Later, Szymon was brought onto Tyler Perry's film "Meet the Browns" and David O. Russell's "Nailed". And then Szymon's life came to a halt. In a fatal car crash Szymon lost his best friend ,who passed away flowing his dreams and heading to an audition; the best friend who he dreamed of moving to Los Angeles with. Szymon knew that he had to live out his dreams for the both of them and so off to Los Angeles he went. He got work early on, as a Supervising Producer for TV's One's Cathy Hughes Show and BET's Sunday Best. He also Produced and acted in "A Warm Wind", the critically acclaimed, commercially successful film about the Gulf War. Today Szymon continues to follow his dreams of bringing cause related work to the entertainment industry while working on many different projects. His latest projects are The Los Angles Boys & Girls Club Film Festival and musical feature film called The Perfect Love Song, with Terrell Carter, that brings to the world an understanding of life where there is a severe difference between thinking of a perfect life and the happy moments that we always forget to capture.
