Sveinn Ólafur Gunnarsson

Sveinn Olafur Gunnarsson, b. 1976, born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland. Sveinn is an award winning Icelandic stage and film actor who starred in and co-wrote Either Way (2011) and TV Mini-Series Mannasiðir (2018). He stars in the film Rams which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. He was educated at the Icelandic Art Academy, graduating with a BFA degree in acting in 2006. He had previously studied philosophy at the University of Iceland. Sveinn works equally on stage and in cinema.
