Stephan Parent

Stephan Parent is an award-winning director that develops independent film and documentary projects. Stephan Parent was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. At a very young age he showed an interest in cartooning and filmmaking and devoted all of his time towards developing this fascination. Finally, it paid off, resulting in him in making real movies; and just the first of them - Illusions, an independent, ultra-low budget filmmaking. His further career is a sign for filmmakers that even the wildest dreams may come true if you are brave enough to follow your own path. Since then, Stephan has written, directed, edited, and/or produced around five movies including: Illusions (1998), Blood of Braves (2010), Totem & Taboo (2011), H5N1: Pandemonium (2012) and Empress of Ireland (2012).
