Born in 1962, Christine Dargenton became and still is a caregiver but since 2005 she has been leading a second career as an actress. It all started one day of 2006 when she found in a free newspaper an ad for a casting session in Marche-en-Famenne where Benoît Mariage, who was preparing "Cowboy", a comedy starring Benoit Poelvorde, was in search of supporting roles. Christine, although never having gone to drama school went to Marche and, to her own surprise, got the role of Lyliane. Since then, without ever giving up care-giving, Christine has appeared in nearly twenty films or TV films and a commercial, alongside such major actors as Isabelle Huppert or Daniel Auteuil..
