Angela was born in the UK and raised in Syria. At an early age she was attracted to the arts. She studied classical piano at an early age and eventually received a degree in music from the Institute of Music in Damascus before she finished high school. Upon graduating from high school, she was accepted at The Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, University of Damascus, one of the best acting schools in the Middle East. She graduated top of her class after four years with a Bachelors degree in Dramatic Arts and received a full scholarship to participate in the Festival of Dramatic Arts in Avignon, France as a representative of Syria. Even before graduating Angela was in demand and started booking leading roles in various films and TV shows that were broadcast all over the Arab region, working with some of the big stars of Syria and the Middle East and starring in over 15 major Middle Eastern productions including Ushak Al-Khayal (Imaginary Lovers), the acclaimed Hulago, and the very popular comedy show, Maraya (Mirrors) to mention a few. She soon became a known and popular actress with a large fan base. Angela has also worked on stage in various Syrian productions and has toured with the Syrian Theatrical Group, as their leading lady, all over the Middle East and Europe. Angela eventually moved and settled in the UK with her Husband where she immediately caught the attention of agents and filmmakers and in no time she booked work on different projects including Journey to Mecca, an Award winning IMAX documentary, and starring in two feature films Three Veils and Bloodless both to be released in 2011. For her performance in Three Veils, Angela Won Best Lead Actress Award at the New York City International Film Festival 2011, and Won Special Festival Recognition, New Acting Talent Award, Most Aspiring New Actress, at The International Filmmaker Festival 2011, UK.
