Pelle Asselbergs

Pelle Asselbergs (1988, the Netherlands) graduated from The Netherlands Film Academy in 2010. His credits include numerous episodic series, documentaries and feature films. He worked on the immense popular documentary series 'Our men in Tehran' (PBS Frontline, 2015) which was the Dutch entry of the Emmy Awards and Human Playground (Netflix, 2022) more recently. The feature film Buladó (Eché Janga, 2020) won Best Film at the Dutch Film Festival and was the Dutch entry for the International Oscar Academy. His background as a pianist and musician contributes to his style of editing and composing soundscapes for film. Always exploring the alchemy of images, rhythm, sound, and language.
