Kara Camden

Kara Camden creates theater, film, and new media that uplifts through laughter and love. She got her start in theater, then ventured into film acting, producing and writing along with running her business, Itsy Bitsy Theater. Kara began her theatrical career acting in North Carolina as Minnie Fay in the musical Hello Dolly. After that, she attended UCLA's school of Theater, Film, and Television. While in Los Angeles, she studied lighting, sound, and costume design along with playwriting. After some years acting in indie film, Kara began writing and producing. She produced her own gardening web series. She was also part of the creative and performing team for the Boob Show, a fundraiser for breast cancer research performed at Finest City Improv in San Diego. The Boob Show also served as Kara's intro to the worlds of improv and puppetry. In addition to all her theatrical talents, she is also a player on the scene of International Higher Education. Kara is a strong contributor and supporter of the San Diego arts and entertainment scene.
