It is difficult to fathom how such a young actress has been so active in such a short span of time, but Yokohama-born Arakawa Chika has done it. She got her start in TV Asahi's Saturday Midnight drama Pleasure Craftsman in 2006 and has not looked back. She was in her first feature film, Tomie Vs Tomie in 2007 and went on to appear in tens of films, serials and commercials. She was the polite and bubbly Yuki in Tokyo family, the remake of Tokyo Story, and also in Labyrinth Café where she attended the premiere. She attended the Vladivostok International Film Festival and won an award for Best Actress at Comedy Cruise International Film Festival. Yuki has been in dozens of magazines, on the radio and done voice acting. Yuki cites watching anime and reading books as favourite pastimes, Arakawa Under the Bridge as her favourite film and is represented by Very Berry pro.
