Candice Prentice

Candice Marie Prentice was born on April 12th, 1982 at Grace Maternity hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Her parents met in the Canadian Navy and traveled the world together serving Canada before starting their family. Shortly after having Candice her parents then moved to Toronto - where her sister Ashley was born a couple of years later. Candice's mother grew up in Aurora, Illinois where Candice's younger brother Justin was born. It was there that Candice found her passion and calling as an actress. Candice fell in love with acting at a very early age, she was 6 years old when she first started auditioning. Candice would beg her parents to take her to auditions for theatre and commercials in the Chicago area, where she was in many theatre productions. Candice's family moved back to Toronto, Canada for her father's job when she was the 4th grade. Candice finished her school years in Toronto and found herself her first agent for background work in film and television in Toronto at 14 years old. Candice has been in over 3 dozen projects in films and television all through high school as an extra and/or day player. Candice started training at EVN Film and Television Studio with Earl Nanhu at 16 years old & still considers Earl one of her mentor. Candice comes from a very close, loving family, her parents have always been extremely supportive of her dream to act and have always done everything they can do make it happen for her, providing her with everything she ever needed to get to where she is today. Candice's parents told her at a very young age that she could have, do and be anything she wanted to be, as long as it was after high school. Candice then found herself a theatrical and commercial agent. Immediately, Candice started booking music videos, commercials on TV and radio and lead roles in student and independent feature films. Candice has studied Reiki Energy healing, Aromotherepy, Spiritualism, Metaphysical world tools, theology, religion, Feng Shui and Interior Design. Candice loves learning new things and is constantly learning new exciting skills to add to her abilities. Candice is now living in Hollywood, California. In 2007 at the AFM's (American Film Market) in Santa Monica at the Lowes Hotel in November Candice was asked by Unistar Pictures to promote her starring role in "Vanessa". Candice is also the new face for the Pico Revera Veterans Documentary with Mystery Inc Entertainment and is booked for many feature film projects for 2008, 2009 & 2010. Candice is well on way to the top!
