Angela Burns

Angela Burns is from Austin, Texas. Burns developed an interest in acting at a young age, and began playing drums in a band with her older sisters. Burns has appeared in several national commercials (e.g. McDonalds, Sprint, Nickelodeon). She released an unofficial mixtape on SoundCloud, "So That You Can Feel Better" in 2016. The project was reviewed by The Big Takeover Magazine as a "uniquely gothic baroque take on garage rock", and by Obscure Sound as "a darkly intoxicating take on female-fronted grunge and alternative-rock". Burns was an anomaly as a teenager. As early as age 15, she was hired to work as casting director, extras casting coordinator, or casting assistant on several tv shows and films - beginning in Austin with projects such as Robert Rodriguez' "Sin City 2" and Richard Linklater's "Boyhood" , and continuing in Los Angeles, with projects such as Sony's "The Fifth Wave" and Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World". Currently (2020), Burns splits her time between Los Angeles and Austin, and is focused on acting and her debut musical release.
