Beatrice was born in Prince George, BC to Angus Edward Sallis and Ana Maria Lima. She was raised in various parts of British Columbia and in Belem, Para, Brazil. As an actress and musician, it was evident from a very young age that Beatrice had an extraordinary gift as a performer. She began her singing and acting career at the age of four where she would put on concerts and shows for friends, family members and local events. As her natural vocal talent progressed, she was quick to pick up piano and by the age of 16, she had already formed her own music school where she would teach local children the basics of music and drama. As she began to flourish herself, she started entering competitions where she did extremely well as a solo artist. She was chosen for a jazz bursary in high school and attended numerous workshops and seminars for artist development, including the BC Festival of the Arts with Mae Moore. She was in several Greater Vancouver bands and a regular at local Jazz and Blues festivals playing with some of the most talented Vancouver musicians. Bea's dedication and commitment acting never stops and is known for loving the journey every part of the way. She studied at various well known Vancouver ad LA schools for film and TV, theatre and improv. Her determination booked several roles in the Vancouver acting scene and various commercials, voice over work and improv comedy gigs. Just released in 2011 was Take your Time recorded, produced instruments and back up vocals by Josh Ramsay. (Available for download on her website.)She is finishing her CD and working on various projects including a short, fresh upbeat comedy series and retained for several voice over projects.
