Frank Haney is an award-winning film writer/producer/director whose work has been featured on The History Channel, VH-1, and A&E. He is the son of a well-regarded New York Philharmonic trombonist and initially wanted to follow in his father's footsteps. He spent summers at the Interlochen Academy of the Arts in Michigan honing his craft before deciding to pursue other realms of music. Before he became a filmmaker, Mr. Haney played guitar, sang, and recorded with several influential Midwestern country-rock groups including the Silver Wings and The Farmers. He also performed with new wave bands Astrosurf and Nukes. Frank Haney attended the acclaimed Indiana University Music School, which forever altered his musical path and planted the seeds for Lust 'n Rust - a trailer park musical.
