Bruce Wen whose Chinese name Wen Xiao Long grew up in the holy monastery of Shaolin. As a child, he started martial arts training at the age of three under his father, uncle, and many other martial arts masters in Fujian South Shaolin Temple. Later, Long was taken to Northern Shaolin Temple in Henan to further his study in martial arts by his father and uncle. He was taught directly under the instructions of Shaolin monk Shi Heng Jun, Shi Su Gang, Shi De Hui, Shi De Cheng, and Shi Yong Chan, and Shi Xing Du. Through Years of training, Bruce has achieved perfections in his martial arts. His been featured in various martial arts performance, newspapers, radio and magazine. He also performed for the First Annual Hollywood Chinese Film Festival in front of Hong Kong Star Eric Hsiang, Jackie Chan, and many more. In 2005, with his masters approval from Shaolin, he started the United States Shaolin Martial Arts Academy, to promote and spread the arts of Kung Fu. Currently Bruce is studying at University of California at Santa Barbara in the Drama Departments. His goals is to pursue a career in the entertainment industry where he can shows his cultural to the public.
