Lindsay is a graduate of The Central School of Speech and Drama, London, alumni include, Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French and Laurence Olivier to name but a few. Lindsay was born in Orsett and grew up in Westcliff on Sea in Essex where she attended St Bernard's High School for Girls. (Alumni includes Helen Mirren) Lindsay is the youngest of three children, sister Christina, and brother Jamie. She started ballet at the age of three and by the time she was seven Lindsay played a boy in Oliver! as well as other child characters in the show. At the age of twelve, Lindsay landed her first professional role at the Palace Theatre in Westcliff On Sea performing in the ensemble as well as the Cinderella double for the show starring Rebecca Thornhill. At this time Lindsay also completed her L.A.M.D.A examinations. After completing school Lindsay took on comedy parts in plays that toured the U.K and again competed in festivals around the country. This led Lindsay to take part and again touring in a Theater in Education program funded by Southend Road Safety team by the local Council. After this touring production ended Lindsay co-founded a theatre company in Essex and produced and acted in another touring theatre show. Being offered two places at drama school Lindsay turned them down to go and study at Kingston University where her acting and performing came to a halt whilst she traveled the world and lived in Alicante Spain for five months where she performed at the university itself. Through her final year at Kingston University Lindsay started performing again outside of class and started taking classes in acrobatics and trapeze at The Circus Space in London as well as taking acting classes at renowned acting school The Central School of Speech and Drama before eventually taking her Masters degree there. Whilst at university Lindsay performed in The Vagina Monologues for V day event as well as taking part in a 24 hour theater event 2006. In 2015 Lindsay produced and performed in the V-DAY event in Hollywood by performing in The Vagina Monologues once more. This production raised money for Peace Over Violence, nonprofit helping women recover from sexual and physical violence.
