Ben Wydeven has directed more than 20 films in the last 15 years. His favorite directors include Alfred Hitchcock, James Wan, and James Cameron. Ben's love for the paranormal began with Ghost Busters and The X-Files. In college, Ben produced a documentary about a haunted house. In 2007 Ben wrote and directed "The Medium," which was filmed in an old downtown moving theatre reputed to be haunted. In 2009 Ben produced "The Zombeatles: All You Needs is Brains" which parallels The Beatles history with a zombie twist. In 2012, Ben directed "Quantum of Vengeance," a short film about a young woman who travels back in time to kill the person who killed her father. In 2013, Ben directed the Madison 48 hour film project film "D" in 2013 for Project Famous, which won best editing, best sound design, best use of genre and runner up for best film. He is the creator of The Raven James Chronicles film series, based on his novel "Drowning Demons." In 2016, Ben released "Mourning in the Cemetery," the fourth film in The Raven James Chronicles and the documentary "Team OBI: An Investigation into the Haunting of the Old Baraboo Inn."
