Soraya was born in Algeria, but grew up in the South of France in a healthy mixture of Algerian, Spanish and French cultures (she speaks French, English and Spanish). She started training as an actress in Montpellier, then went to the City Lit Institute in London before going back to France, this time training at Acting International School of Acting in Paris. She worked for French actor Patrick Timsit as a rehearsal study for his TV film 'Landru'. But an opportunity to move to L.A. came up and she took it! In Los Angeles, Soraya occasionally worked as a Producer and Voice over Artist for E!News France, and made a brief appearance in "Little Fockers". In parallel to her pursuing a career in film, Soraya started developing her web series, "Oh La La, I Speak French!" and then "Oh La La, Hollywood Speaks French!", and is known to many as the "hot French teacher". She also wrote/produced/starred in a short film, a romantic comedy entitled "I'm not an Accent". Soraya has recently moved back to Paris and is focusing on her film career.
