Known for his Minnesotan quirks, Allen Rueckert is an award-winning actor and has been in several shows and movies. He is best known for co-starring with Eddie Murphy and Bob Odenkirk in Netflix's "Dolemite is My Name," and had a recurring role in HBO's "Veep." You can see him on TV or if you run into him on the street. While doing the video announcements in high school, Allen found he loved entertaining the students rather than announcing what was on the lunch menu. It lead him to star in local plays and films and then he moved to Los Angeles where he has done several years of intense scene study. Allen Rueckert is also an award-winning writer, for the feature horror/comedy "3 to Die" and for the drama "All this Wind Shakes No Corn", along with his co-writer Mitch Yapko. Even when he writes dramas, he loves adding comedy into a scene when it fits. "We all experience some comedy in every situation." Whether as an actor, writer, or director, his work has shown up in many prestigious festivals, including the South By Southwest Film Festival.
