Kate is a Development Executive at Vendetta Productions and a producer, writer, and dramaturg working in both theatre and screen. Kate wrote and produced award-winning short film 'Eleven'. 'Eleven' screened in competition at Berlinale, Melbourne International Film Festival, New Zealand International Film Festival and won Best Short Film and Best Short Film Script at the Rialto Channel NZ Film Awards 2014. In 2016 Kate wrote and produced short film 'Theodora', starring renowned New Zealand actor Catherine Wilkin. In 2018 she produced Season 7 of documentary series 'Both Worlds' for Three and was the researcher and archivist on TVNZ documentary 'Funny As: The Story of New Zealand Comedy'. She recently created and produced the immersive podcast 'Artist in Residence' for New Zealand arts and culture website The Pantograph Punch, featuring newly-commissioned work from Bic Runga. Kate works in theatre as a freelance dramaturg and script advisor. She has previously worked as the Director of premium New Zealand arts and culture site, The Pantograph Punch, and is a commercial and documentary voiceover artist.
