An actor and stand up comedian for nearly twenty years, Vern has mostly worked in theatre creating many new works with various companies across the UK. He grew up in the Welsh valleys and studied Drama at Liverpool John Moores University before going on to train at The Poor School in London. He divides his time between South Wales and London where he has one daughter. He also records a monthly movie discussion podcast, Matinee Idles, which is accessible via the internet.
