Mark Cheng is an American director, visual effects artist, and technologist based in Los Angeles. Ghost Source Zero is his feature film debut, and is distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Cheng graduated from Cornell University's Theater Arts/Cinema program and earned an MBA from Rutgers Business School where he focused on High Tech Growth. He has 20 years of experience in the technology/media industry and spent 13 years at Viacom's Nickelodeon network. He left his post as Vice President to focus on film production. Cheng's work on Nickelodeon Games helped his department win an Emmy. Cheng has made films all his life and his work has won film festival awards for Best Science Fiction and Best Special Effects. last updated: 2018
