Fahd Larhzaoui was born on November 10, 1978 in Gouda, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. Larhzaoui is best known for the popular children's program Huisje Boompje Beestje 2009-2014 (2009), which was shown on Dutch and Belgian television until 2014. From 2004 to 2008 Larhzaoui danced as a background dancer for the dutch Idols! (2002) finalist Hind Laroussi. In 2008 Larhzaoui received a two-years scholarship from the VandenEnde Foundation. With the help of this scholarship he took voice lessons from icon Erik Hermans. In 2014 and 2015 Larhzaoui toured with his solo-monologue Schijn (Appearance) through various theaters in the Netherlands, Belgium, Suriname and Curaçao. Schijn is the life story of Larhzaoui and was written by screenwriter Don Duyns. Schijn was selected for the Dutch Theater Festival as one of the best theater productions of 2014. For his second Theatersolo performance Shirt Uit Fahd, Larhzaoui was named in her top 3 by NRC critic Elisabeth Oosterling for the Louis D'or (best male lead). Larhzaoui played various roles with, among others, Flikken Rotterdam (2016), Moordvrouw (2012) and Deadline (2008). In 2018, Larhzaoui appeared in Duivelse Dilemma's Het laatste verhoor (2018) as detective Marwan Zahiri. In the summer of 2020, Larhzaoui was featured in the series Papadag (2017). There he played the character Terence Blijleven. In 2021 Larhzaoui got his first leading role in the Dutch tragicomedy film El Houb (2021). Directed by Shariff Nasr. He plays the Moroccan-Dutch Karim who returns to his parental home to tell his parents that he likes men. Their response inspires a journey of discovery through Karim's isolation as he attempts to break an ingrained culture of silence.
