Natalie Higdon

Natalie Higdon is a screenwriter, fiction writer, occasional stand-up comic, and award-winning playwright living in Memphis, Tenn. She recently completed her second feature-length screenplay, "Hold Me Now," a coming-of-age story and love letter to 80s excess and the over-the-top music videos that shaped the writer's formative years. Her play, "Missed Connection," an imagining of the current life of Greek gods in today's world of dating apps and gluten intolerance, won 1st prize in Emerald Theatre Company's 10-minute Play Festival. Her first play, "Missed Connection," in which three men find that hell is other people and eternal social media notifications, was selected as a finalist for the same festival the previous year.
